This Privacy Policy applies to Dental Connect Consultation (DCC), connectedental.com, the DCC mobile app, Dentovarta, consultation workflows, and related support tools. DCC respects the privacy of clinicians, specialists, patients, assistants, and platform team members.

Information We Collect

  • Account details such as name, email address, mobile number, WhatsApp alert number, role, password credentials, and location.
  • Professional verification details such as degree, Dental Council registration, certificates, specialty, consultation areas, and selected identity verification route.
  • Clinical consultation details such as case notes, images, radiographs, chat messages, status updates, payments, passbook entries, feedback, and follow-up information.
  • Safety and audit information such as OTP verification, device trust status, app activity logs, moderation records, reports, and platform alerts.

How We Use Information

  • To create, verify, secure, and manage clinician, specialist, assistant, and admin accounts.
  • To route online and offline consultation cases to eligible specialists and maintain case continuity.
  • To provide OTPs, service alerts, case updates, payment updates, follow-up reminders, and administrative notifications.
  • To keep Dentovarta and consultation workflows professional, safe, auditable, and limited to dental or medical use.

Patient and Clinical Privacy

  • Users must collect appropriate patient consent before uploading clinical records, photographs, radiographs, or documents.
  • Patient identity should be hidden before public clinical sharing, including eyes or face, names, phone numbers, addresses, ID details, and X-ray or clinic labels.
  • Dentovarta posts are shown anonymously to members, but DCC may review content for safety, moderation, audit, and compliance purposes.
  • DCC is a consultation support platform. Final clinical decisions remain with the treating dentist or specialist.

Sharing of Information

  • DCC shares information only with the clinician, specialist, authorized admin team, assistant user, or service provider needed to run the requested workflow.
  • Information may be shared when required for security, moderation, account verification, payment handling, legal compliance, dispute handling, or user support.
  • DCC does not sell personal information.
  • DCC does not track user activity outside the DCC platform. Privacy-respecting analytics are limited to in-app activity.

Security and Storage

  • DCC uses reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect account, clinical, and audit information.
  • Access to sensitive records is limited to authorized users based on role and workflow need.
  • No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, so users should avoid uploading unnecessary patient identifiers.

Retention and Deletion

  • Records may be retained while needed for consultation history, payment records, audit logs, safety review, legal duties, and dispute handling.
  • Users can request account deletion from the DCC homepage or by emailing masteradmin@connectedental.com.
  • Some records may remain where retention is required for clinical, payment, audit, security, or legal reasons.

Children's Privacy

DCC is intended for dental professionals, authorized assistants, and patient-related consultation workflows. It is not intended for direct use by children. Clinical information about minors should be uploaded only by authorized dental professionals or guardians with appropriate consent.

Changes to This Policy

DCC may update this Privacy Policy when the platform, app, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised update date.
